MYP School
Al Sahafa International School is now a school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) — a key step toward becoming an IB World School.
The IB is a prestigious global framework that offers more than academics — it’s a global approach to education that nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and compassion, preparing students not just for exams, but for life.
Through this globally renowned programme, we empower students with the mindset and skills to lead with confidence, think creatively, and make a meaningful impact.
SAT / ACT
At Al Sahafa International School, our high school curriculum is designed to align with Common Core Standards, equipping students with the critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills needed for success on the SAT exam. Through intentional scaffolding within the curriculum, students become familiar with exam-style questioning and build the confidence to excel.
Our students consistently achieve outstanding scores, supported by targeted preparation and access to on-campus testing, as Al Sahafa International School is an official SAT Testing Center (Center #52537). This allows students to take the exam in a familiar and supportive environment.

AP
Recognizing the importance of external academic benchmarks, Al Sahafa International School has been officially administering College Board’s AP (Advanced Placement) exams since 2022.
To further support our high school students, we have integrated key AP subjects into our electives plan, allowing students to prepare for their exams as part of their regular academic schedule.
We continue to serve as an AP testing center for students across Riyadh, providing access to globally recognized college-level assessments in a supportive environment.
